The CAT declared the SET report, which led to a controversial CBI FIR against Sameer Wankhede, as unlawful and made adverse remarks against Singh. The CBI had registered a case against Wankhede and others for allegedly demanding a bribe from actor Shah Rukh Khan. Wankhede has also received death threats, prompting an investigation by authorities. The case remains under scrutiny.
