Kangana Ranaut had approached the Dindoshi sessions court under section 408 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) to transfer the defamation case against her filed by lyricist Javed Akhtar. According to reports, the plea was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Shridhar Bhosle on February 25, and the court has reserved its order on her application.
